The Martini Brothers have been pounding out their unique brand of rock ‘n roll music
since the Fall of 1994, after winning the Battle of The Bands at the Great Interstate York
Fair. Since then they have become legendary in South Central PA for their live shows
and longevity.
When drummer Chad Matson passed away in October 1997, following the release of
Portable, many thought the band would never play another show. After some soul
searching the band asked Rej Troup to join them for a benefit concert and The Martini
Brothers were reborn.
Since 1997 the band has released Trans-Mission in 2000 and Decade Deluxe in
2005. The band was also the subject of indie filmmaker Steve Wylam's feature film:
One Night Only. The film featured four years worth of compiled footage and serves as
an emotional release of the Martini past viewed from their increasingly bright future.
The film was debuted at the Moviate Film Festival in Harrisburg, PA and at the
Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema in Spring of 2000.
Trends in music, like bands, come and go; yet the Martin Brothers staytrue to real rock
‘n roll. Don’t miss the opportunity to catch them live!
