The 3rd Annual National Fallen Biker Memorial Weekend is taking place on Saturday and Sunday, August 20th & 21st. At 4:00 on Sunday afternoon, one lucky rider will have a new toy to brag to his friends about on Monday around the water cooler - a 7x12 Wells Cargo enclosed trailer!

This trailer is an amazing prize all in itself, but it isn’t just a plain trailer - it is autographed by Discovery Channel celebrity bike builders Joe Martin of The Martin Brothers, Russell Mitchell of Exile Cycles, and Kendall Johnson!

The second and third place cash prizes to be awarded are $250.00 and $100.00. Now, admittedly, they aren’t as good as an enclosed trailer that is valued at $6,500, but for the cost of the $5.00 raffle ticket, you can’t loose!

So, why is this trailer being given away? The trailer helps the Bikers with Heart Foundation to raise funds for the National Fallen Biker Memorial Wall. The purpose of the Wall is to honor members of society that have never been recognized for their good deeds. The Wall recognizes those that have been lost to their immediate families, motorcycle family and society due to circumstances they cannot control. Presently, this a virtual Wall that has been created to honor all Fallen Bikers; when the National Fallen Bikers Memorial & Sanctuary is built, all names on the virtual Wall will be transferred to the permanent memorial.

In case you’re wondering who this organization is that is pulling this all together, Bikers With Heart, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was created January 11, 2003 and is comprised of motorcyclists, enthusiasts and business leaders from the Maryland, Virginia & Washington DC area who are dedicated to provide assistance to fallen and injured motorcyclists, disadvantaged youth and families, coordinate relief to the sick, homeless, elderly and work with other charitable organizations that help to make a positive difference in the communities.

The trailer is being awarded during the third weekend in August. Every year, this weekend is recognized as National Fallen Biker Memorial Weekend and a special rally has been created to honor fallen bikers memory in the Maryland and DC area.
