On Saturday, May 1st, Keith and Duval traveled to Maryland to suffer through a full day of watching girls in bikinis wash bikes. They truly are dedicated staff members to have to put up with all of this, just to bring you, the readers, some great pictures!

The day was sunny and warm and "great for a bikini bike wash". You have already found out a ton about DC Cruisers from last month's issue, where we did a shop tour. The staff at DC Cruisers is dedicated to building these great custom bikes, but more importantly, they are dedicated to the community. They want to change the image that your grandma has of bikers; that we aren't toothless hooligans that rape and pillage at every opportunity. We are all just here to have a good time, and to help out those that are less fortunate, which is why so many of their events benefit local charities.

The bike wash had a fabulous turnout. But why wouldn't guys come to get their choppers washed by the Hooters girls, the Nexus Gold Club "Sweet Hearts", and the AC Models? Also present (but not washing bikes) were radio stations broadcasting throughout the day: 94.7 The Arrow Classic Rock and DC 101 DC's Rock Station; Big Trash Day played live tunes to keep the party going into the evening.

Check out many of the other events that DC Cruisers offers on a regular basis, including a free summer biker barbecue taking place every Thursday evening. From 5:00 - 7:30 you can hang out at the shop, get some free grub, served by the Chopper Chicks, and then partake in a cruise to a local biker friendly establishment. On July 17, they will be hosting their first bike show of the year: Books, Cooks and Bikes, featuring cooking and book signing by Biker Billy, a book signing by Tom Zimberoff (author of Art of the Chopper), live music by Bone Daddy, and lots more!

The highlight of the bikini bike wash for the guys was being handed private VIP invitations to a new swingers club in DC. They said that they didn't go, but....

P&OM Staff gives this show a four skull rating!
