When my father and I began our little motorcycle manufacturing business over eight years ago we never expected the type of success we have been so fortunate to experience. For some, success is monitored financially, but for us it is easily measured by the scores of people we have met and speak to at the events and during our daily office routines. So many of you have been instrumental in the products and ideas we develop and market. For your contribution we can only hope that our motorcycles and customer service is second to none. We strive daily to improve upon current designs and invent new concepts that will hopefully one day be available to the market.

We appreciate your patience with our company as we grow. We haven't forgotten how we've gotten here and truly appreciate your loyal ownership. If ever there is a way we can better serve you, please don't hesitate to call or write.

Sincerely - Jay Ridley, Vice President

That is the type of service and dedication that President & Founder Clay Ridley offers to his customers when they make the decision to purchase a Ridley, America’s Automatic Motorcycle. That’s right, these bad boy “miniature” bikes come equipped with fully automatic transmissions. But that isn’t the only thing that’s grabbing attention of buyers across the US. Their 24” seat height, V-Twin engines, lightness, and ease of handling have allowed certain models to sell out before the end of the production year.

Today, buyers are interested in the service that they will receive after their purchase, not the beforehand push to sell and see you later attitude that was prevalent up until a few years ago. And with testimony like the following being posted on Ridley’s message board that backs up their commitment, they are rapidly gathering a large following:

On my way down to Myrtle Beach last week from New York, a driver in Virginia decided to get a "closer look" at my bike and down I went.

Along with road rash , bumps and bruises my 2005 Auto went down hard. The handlebars were bent, the risers were snapped my leather was in shards. My buddies got me off the road, and while I was recovering they managed to wire tie the handlebars and used some tape and rope for good measure. The bike and I traveled over 300 miles like this.

In Myrtle I met Clay, Jay and Big Mike and after telling my story they gave me there word the bike and I would make the trip back home. They over-nighted the parts and repaired the bike in record time. They were friendly, funny, and real pros. I realized I had made a sound investment in my bike and this company.

I made it back all thanks to the Ridley crew. I want to thank you for taking care of me when I truly needed it. To all you Ridley owners and ones who may be thinking of buying one, this is a company who not only makes great bikes, they stand by it and the person who rides it.

Check out the four automatic models and the one manual that are in production this year at www.ridleymotorcycles.com; make sure that you check out the About Ridley section where the picture gallery takes you step by step through their factory, gives a look at the staff, and tells Clay’s story of starting off at age 12 and wanted to build a car from scratch. Clay accomplished that, and much more along the way, including owning controlling shares in five companies since 1978. Be on the watch for Ridley’s on the horizon; Clay Ridley doesn’t back down from a challenge!
