On my way down to Myrtle Beach last week from New York, a driver in Virginia
decided to get a "closer look" at my bike and down I went.
Along with road rash , bumps and bruises my 2005 Auto went down hard. The
handlebars were bent, the risers were snapped my leather was in shards. My
buddies got me off the road, and while I was recovering they managed to wire tie the
handlebars and used some tape and rope for good measure. The bike and I traveled
over 300 miles like this.
In Myrtle I met Clay, Jay and Big Mike and after telling my story they gave me there
word the bike and I would make the trip back home. They over-nighted the parts and
repaired the bike in record time. They were friendly, funny, and real pros. I realized I
had made a sound investment in my bike and this company.
I made it back all thanks to the Ridley crew. I want to thank you for taking care of me
when I truly needed it. To all you Ridley owners and ones who may be thinking of
buying one, this is a company who not only makes great bikes, they stand by it and
the person who rides it.

Check out the four automatic models and the one manual that are in production this
year at www.ridleymotorcycles.com; make sure that you check out the About Ridley
section where the picture gallery takes you step by step through their factory, gives a
look at the staff, and tells Clay’s story of starting off at age 12 and wanted to build a car
from scratch. Clay accomplished that, and much more along the way, including owning
controlling shares in five companies since 1978. Be on the watch for Ridley’s on the
horizon; Clay Ridley doesn’t back down from a challenge!
