Trying to start a show out in a rural area, where the host club has many of the
vehicles that would attend the show is a large undertaking. But, Endless Horizon Car
Club, along with Stop-N-Go Signs, did just that this year on June 5th in the Lewisburg
PA area.
In the weeks leading up to their show, they hit the pavement, distributing flyers
at car shows that they attended and told anyone that would listen about the hottest
show to come to Lewisburg, well, ever!
The Sunday afternoon of the show, they were fortunate enough to have clear
skies and beautiful weather. They had their showfield, formerly an Ames parking lot,
clearly designated as to where spectator and showfield parking was, and then they
waited for the participants to arrive. Clubs rolled in together in groups, and by the
three o’clock registration deadline, they had a turnout that any club would be proud of in
their first year.
The trophies were awarded to participants in 15 different classes, with an
additional five specialty awards. The Best Classic award went to Dan & Bonnie Aleta
for their 1957 Chevy; Jacob Schuster walked away with the Best New Age award for
his VW Jetta; judges decided that Bryan Zeiger had the Best Truck with his GMC
Sonoma; Chad Gihgrich swept up the Best Motorcycle award with his Suzuki GSX-R;
and the Relay For Life Choice trophy went to Suzie Gilbert with her Mini Cooper.
Two dollars from every registration was donated to Relay For Life.
Next year, Endless Horizon is going to go at it again, but they are still nailing all
of the final details down at this point. Check out www.endless-horizon.com for more
details, or contact info@endless-horizon.com for more specifics on how you can get
