The Appalachian Harley Davidson 3rd Annual Birthday Bash took place on June 19th at their shop in New Kingston, PA. I wasn't able to make it out to the show this year, since Pudge & I were headed to the East Coast Minis truck show in Maryland, but P&OM Garage made a presence, including the Old Man!
This is the first show that the Old Man took pictures at, and he was quite excited to tell us about it. I don't know if he knew exactly what he was snapping shots of, but he was enthusiastic!
The Birthday Bash has a MargaritaVille/Hawaiian Luau theme to it, and everyone has to love leather-clad bikers who are wearing colorful leis around their necks! Throughout the day, you could take a demo ride on the 2004 lineup, watch the bikini contest, participate in the Find Jimmy's Lost Shaker of Salt contest, or dress up to win the award of having the Best Parrothead costume.
This isn't Daytona or Myrtle Beach bike week, but a great time is had by all who attended, and next year you can attend the Birthday Bash at their new facility, right down the street. Look for more fun events put on by Appalachian at www.appalachianharley-davidson.com.
