P&OM reviews the new Whiplash DVD

About a week ago we went over to Carlisle PA and met up with the Whiplash DVD crew to do a photoshoot for this review. We had met the guys a couple of times and had seen some of their antics on their DVD - Whiplash, The Carlisle Video. Let's just say that to hang with these guys and see things first hand is an expericence. Mikey and his crew are a blast. What you see in the video isn't an act - it is a way of life for these guys.

The DVD has tons of burnouts, wheelies, flaming farts, ladies, breasts and antics that are just too funny to miss, so be sure to pick up one of these videos. Here are some reviews from our staff of the Whiplash DVD. You can get your own copy at www.whiplashdvd.com!

Pudge - I feel that the Whiplash DVD is one of the most entertaining movies of this style out there. It kept my attention pretty much the whole way through the video. I love to watch people screw with others, so it was funny as hell when they told those young kids that their muffler bearings were going out and they believed it. I highly recommend adding this to your DVD collection.

Duval - I've watched several videos like this before and I must say this is one of the best out there. I think one of the reasons I liked this video is that it is filmed here in Central Pennsylvania and you see people you know. My favorite part of the video is when the guys are in the parking lot making fun of the 'Muffler Bearings'!! It is a great skit. Every part of the video is awesome - there are no dull moments; it will have you laughing your ass off. So if you haven't seen it, you need to!

Shorty - Wow, what can I say about the Whiplash DVD? For what it is, this is actually a really good movie - if you are into this type of thing. Obviously, if you aren't into cars, burnouts, cars doing stupid stuff, people doing stupid stuff, or girls boobs, you aren't going to like this. But, if you were into the sport a few years ago, and made it to any of the Carlisle shows, this is going to bring back memories. Around the time that Pudge & I started dating is when alot of this stuff started being frowned upon by the promoters and the cops, so I was to a few shows that were like this (and they rocked!). If you are too young to remeber any of that, get the DVD, watch it, and look out on all you missed! This video is the reason that minitruck and car shows have the reputation from certain towns that they do. It is why we aren't welcomed back year after year, but instead only put up with. But, it is pretty funny to watch - think Jackass.

Brian - Hey, this is Brian, the Videographer for P&OM Garage. Mike Swartz and the guys from Whiplash DVD.com asked me to give them a review on their latest DVD release. Working on a DVD myself, I know how much time and effort goes into trying to produce a video which viewers will enjoy. The music and quick cut shots kept me interested along with the women and breasts..did I mention breasts! Mike's humor toward the 'Rent-A-Cops' had me laughing out loud. The 'Drunk Monkey' that jumped from the tree to the trampoline had me laughing even harder. The burn out and donut scenes were all very cool but had me losing interest after the first few. I think they could've been a little less drawn out. Overall, I'd have to give Mike and the crew of Whiplash 4 out of 5 Burn Outs. The DVD was quite enjoyable and will have viewers coming back for more.
