     Daisy speaks out!

Hey all! Well the nasty cold weather of winter is headed in and that sucks! That means there will be minimal traveling to cover any shows that are coming up (on my part). So, for the next few months I’ll be writing about a handful of talented people. This month I’d like to introduce a cool chic that happens to have a body just as awesome as her personality, and a band that can play Jimmy Hendrix and the blues!

First, I’d like to tell ya a little about this girl I met. Her name is Heidi, and even though she’s legal, she’s very much taken. Anyway I got some quick shots of her that may interest you, and for the large percent of you who are attracted to the “Exotic Asian” look, she’s the perfect eye candy for ya! Half of her family is Philippine, so she has that very sexy smooth mocha complexion and long thin legs.

This girl has more than just her looks goin’ on - she is currently a full time student and works two jobs. Heidi also travels all over to do hair. She is very sweet and is a low maintenance type of girl, and to top it off, she loves to go fishing! If she had any spare time, maybe she’d go skiing or something. I don’t want to give you too much info on her since she’s awaiting her spot to be P&OM’s next Garage Girl, and that is when you can find out more about her.

And now about that band…

There’s a group of guys down in Roanoke, VA that call themselves “Little Roger and the Cheap Thrills” and my, my, my, can they play the blues. I’m no expert, but I know when something sounds good and they certainly do! The band is just awesome and they have a guitarist by the name of Kevin Stele who can play like no one I have ever heard!

There are many sides of me and my interests may throw you off, but there is a sound that only the blues have, and I love it. This guy was incredible, he played solo a bit and he took on Jimmy Hendrix. It was the best music I have heard in a long time. He played parts of the song with his tongue and also held the guitar behind his back and never missed a cord.

We listened to them play all night and I could have listened even longer. I want to get them to PA, so listen to the clip. If you would like to hear them live let me know, the more people that are interested the better a chance I’ll have of getting them here.

Maybe some of you musicians that are reading this aren’t so easily impressed, but trust me, you need to hear them live. They may just give you a reason to spend more time practicing, or maybe you need to contact me so I can brag about you!!
