This Marverick is the second of Bob Beck’s cars that we have seen. This 1971 Maverick is 95 percent original. The paint and interior are all in nearperfect factory condition; the original spare tire has never even been on the ground. To update the car Bob added chrome Magnum 500 15x7 wheels from Stockton Wheel Service and BFG T/A radials. The stock and original 250 six cylinder with less than 40,000 miles still sits under the hood with a C4 trans back to the Ford 8" rear end. The car has earned top awards at the All Mustang and Ford show for two consecutive years and was a top ten pick at the Roaders Car show this last September at the Ford night.
Mark Lauer’s tractor is a automatic 1993 Toro Wheelhorse with a neck breakin' 12.5 horse Briggs & Stratton engine. To make the yard work a little more exciting, Mark applied silver rattle can paint from Wal-mart to the mexichrome wheels, and then PPG Global paint with Prismatic over the red. It's also bagged....well it has a bagger attachment hanging off the back right now. And how could we forget to mention that it has a factory cup holder, too!
